There is something wonderfully timeless about a sapphire and diamond trilogy ring. Romantic without being overly sweet, elegant without trying too hard - and endlessly easy to wear. This antique example pairs a deep blue sapphire with two bright old cut diamonds in a beautifully balanced claw setting, all mounted in rich 18ct gold.

The proportions are particularly lovely here; delicate on the hand, but with enough presence to catch the light properly. The open gallery and softly tapered shoulders give it that unmistakable antique feel that modern reproductions rarely quite manage.

Traditionally, trilogy rings symbolised past, present and future - though frankly this one also does an excellent job of symbolising “I have impeccable taste in antique jewellery.”
